Charities Have Been Selected

Last week the WAM - Charity Selection Committee met to select the 20 charities that
will participate in this year's event. It was a difficult process - over 60 charities
applied for the 20 positions. However, after many hours of discussion the finalists
were selected.
You can see the final list of charities, read about them and view their proposals
by visiting the Charities page on the www.wearemicrosoft.com website. If you were
not selected, please visit www.givecamp.org to read about other similar events that
are being organized around the country.
If you are a developer and would like to participate, there are still about 30 slots
open. Please create an account and select which charity you would like to work with.
Also, if you are a senior developer and would like a unique opportunity to be on
the WAM Flying Committee, please send email to webmaster@wearemicrosoft.com.
